Must I sign a waiver to enter DefyGravity?

Yes, all jumpers AND observers MUST sign a waiver. For maximum convenience, we have developed a state-of-the-art online waiver system that allows you to sign online from anywhere in the world and without printing.  You can also sign the “eWaiver” at our Touch Screen Waiver Station when you arrive at the facility. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or Legal Guardian. Grandparents, siblings, nannies, aunts/uncles, and other family members without court issued guardianship are NOT considered legal guardians. If you are bringing anyone under the age of 18 who are not your kids — for birthdays or play dates – please remember to get waivers signed by their parents before you come. Permission by phone or email is not sufficient. Please do ot print off a copy of our online waiver and bring it in, we cannot accept it. Use the printable waiver link located in the next FAQ below. Do you have a Printable Waiver?

We often have parents and teachers ask for a printable waiver to use for field trips and large parties, so yes, we do now have a printable waiver available for temporary use only. This waiver is only good at the time of use and will not be stored on file. Only digital waivers signed online or in-house at the kiosk will be kept on file for future visits. Okay, so there are trampolines…but what can we do at DefyGravity…?

You can bounce in our open jump field (over 30 connected trampolines), play intense trampoline dodgeball, do tricks into the foam pit, perfect your moves on our bounceboards, get a grueling crossfit trampoline workout, dunk a basketball on a 16 foot hoop, you get the idea….

How much does it cost?

1.0 hour of Jump Time at DefyGravity is $12. We also sell a 2.0 hour Flight Pass for $20. (Ages 6 and Under are $8--1 hour;  and $16--2 hours). You can also save money by putting a group together..when you bring 10 jumpers and pay in a single transaction, our “Group Math” gives you $1 off for everyone in your group, $2 off for 20 jumpers, $3 off for 30, etc.

Is DefyGravity dangerous?

DefyGravity employs the latest technology and safety engineering to ensure that your jumping experience is as safe as possible. Like any vigorous sporting activity, injuries can and do occur. However, injuries are rare and usually quite minor.  A recent study of trampoline parks across the US found an injury incident rate of 0.02%, with the most common injuries being trampoline burns and bruises. Follow our safety rules and the chances of injury are even less.

Do I need reservations to jump at DefyGravity?

We strongly suggest purchasing tickets ahead of time. If you are planning to come on a weekend, holidays or with a larger group (10 or more) make a reservation at least 3-6 days in advance. DefyGravity is open for walk-ins, but on busy days we cannot always accommodate them. There is a maximum number of jumpers allowed in the trampoline arena and we do sell out.

When is DefyGravity Open?

DefyGravity is open:

Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 9:00pm

Friday and Saturday 9:00am-11:00pm

Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm

Are there any age limits or restrictions?

DefyGravity is available and fun for ALL ages! We have a special KidJump time Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The first hour (9:00am to 10:00am) is EXCLUSIVELY for Kids 6 and under. During KidJump, the Accompanying Parent or Guardian can jump free with the kiddos. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is a 15 year old age requirement for ClubGravity 9:00pm-11:00pm.

Can I come and just watch my kids?

Yes, you may go back into the Trampoline Arena as an observer without purchasing a Flight Pass. However, you must still sign a waiver to enter.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable! You will be having a blast and getting a great workout so exercise gear is fine. Barefoot or socks only on the Trampoline Arena. We sell special DefyGravity Flight Socks at the door with “grippy” bottoms that help you get the most out of your jumping experience. Price is $4/pair.

Does DefyGravity do Birthday Parties?

Yes! The best in the Triangle! Parties include 1 hour of Flight Time for 10 Jumpers plus the Birthday Boy/Girl and 45 minutes in a Party Room with Pizza, Beverages; and a Flight Shirt and Socks for the Birthday Jumper. We also have a list of cool add-on features (Gourmet Cupcakes, Flight Shirts, Flight Socks, etc.).  

Pricing: Monday-Thursday $200 ($15 for each additional jumper); Friday-Sunday and holidays $250 ($18 for each additional jumper). We provide set up, utensils and a dedicated party hostess. No outside food or drink is allowed except for cake and goodie bags. A Birthday invitation can be filled out and printed by clicking the "B-Day Invite" icon at the bottom our web site.

Can I rent DefyGravity exclusively for a private party?

Yes, but we are selective about the timing of exclusive events. The cost to rent the entire DefyGravity Trampoline Arena exclusively for one (1) hour is $599; for (2) hours is $1,000; maximum capacity is 80 Jumpers. Please call us at 919.825.1010 to discuss private party times.

What other group events do you offer?

We offer one of the most unique fundraisers on the planet (JumpJam); we also offer one of the most memorable slumber parties ever conceived.  For companies and organizations, DefyGravity is an active, creative and fun way to build team unity. Where else can you legally bean your boss in trampoline dodgeball….?

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Deposits for Parties and Large Group Events will be given a full refund on cancellations or rescheduled events made more than ONE WEEK in advance. A deposit becomes non-refundable within 7 days of the event. No refunds for persons missing from your reservation. ALL group and ticket sales are final.
